Job Description

The ideal figure to fill the role of Simulation Ecosystem Senior Engineer (m/f) within the GTO team in Pordenone area will have the following responsibilities:

• Develop, test and deploy Simulation Process & Data management (SPDM) integrated to corporate PLM solution
• Develop, test and deploy simulation IT solutions (SW+HPC) enabling users simulation community to run activities effectively
• Ensure operability, access, and efficiency of simulation ecosystem
• Specify requirements, contribute implementation and maintenance of IT ecosystem for simulation while further developing and validating solutions in the fields of: High Performing Computing (HPC) server solution (On-premises, Cloud and Hybrid),HPC services
• Install, test with PoC and pilots and maintain Simulation applications software packages (ie: softwares, licenses, documentation, Versions updates)
• Contribute to technology road mapping, focus areas: Simulation IT ecosystem, Simulation digital workplace and Simulation Process & Data management (SPDM)
  

The Successful Applicant

Requirements

The ideal figure to fill the role of Simulation Ecosystem Senior Engineer (m/f) within the GTO team in Pordenone area will have the following requirements

• Fluent English
• Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in engineering field or computer science, PhD/post is a plus
• Strong competence and proven expertise in IT tools
• Simulation Process Data Management (SPDM): automation, optimization (eg: HEEDS, Modefrontier, 3DX archestrate), PLM data management (eg: TeamCenter, Enovia, 3DX)
• HPC High Performing Computing for simulation execution (CFD-CCM+, FEA-Hypeworks/Abaqus, Electromagnetic-CST/Flux)
• Simulation integrating systems (HPC, SPDM, Simulation SW)
• Experience in Desktop virtualization (eg: DCV), HPC Portal (eg: Enginframe)
• Experience in job management tools (eg: PBS, SLURM, Moab, TORQUE, etc.)
• Ability to develop and maintain programs and scripts (eg: bash, Perl, Python, ...)
• Experience with on-prem and public cloud technologies (eg: AWS, Azure)
