Job Summary

Processing Solutions & Equipment has the end-to-end responsibility for development, production and installation of Tetra Pak equipment and ensures we deliver the cost, productivity, and quality our customers expect. We are now looking for a Supply Chain Planner/ Master Scheduler to join the Supply Planning team and fulfil our promise to our customers. The team is based in Sweden, Italy, and China, interacting with colleagues on all continents.
As a Master Scheduler, you are in the centre of the equipment supply chains and you will have a planning responsibility for a set of key products. Your will be making challenging decision every day where you synchronize and bridge the gap between the longer-term plans and the sometimes-unexpected reality. By your side and always supporting you is the highly qualified Supply Planning team providing experience, standards and guidelines to make the best out of every opportunity and secure we learn from our mistakes.
By interacting with internal production, suppliers, you synchronize the supply chain around one Master Production Schedule on an operational and tactical level by setting capacity levels and secure material variant availability.

The position is based in Modena, Italy, and may require 5-15% travel.

What you will do

• Translate short term demand into capacity requirements for Production Plants and suppliers.
• Define and communicate the production pace for FM (Filling Machine) and DE (Downstream Equipment) Supply Chains.
• Synchronize Master Productions Schedules with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support NPI (New Product Introduction) in the Supply Chain Ramp-up phase as part of extended teams in projects
• Prepare Supply Chain planning master data for scheduling and capacity setting.
• Be accountable for supply reliability and committed lead times for the products under your responsibility.
• Contribute to the monthly Sales & Operations Planning cycle.
• Continuously improve way of working by applying World Class Manufacturing and Lean practices.

We believe you have:
• A University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Economics and Engineering or similar.
• Good knowledge of capacity planning, supply chain planning and order planning.
• Excellent English knowledge both spoken and written and good command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
• Practical experience from different roles related to Supply Chain Planning.
• Good knowledge of SAP R/3 planning modules or other planning tools (MRP, MRP II, Advance Scheduling) is highly recommended.
