Let us describe the challenge we offer

We are looking for you who will take care of our national Live Communication/Event Operations for Polestar in Italy to ensure the best customer interaction with the brand and products on a national level. You will be responsible for the development, planning and management of key customer touch points and moments with a focus on different types of events (includes B2C as well as B2B), test-drive activities, internal fleet management and partner management.

This role will be part of the Polestar Italy Marketing department and will be based at our Polestar office in Milan, Italy. This position will report to the Italian Head of Marketing. We understand that work-life balance isn’t easy, and of course, welcome our employees to work flexible hours and from home a couple of days per week if needed. We believe in empowerment.

What You’ll Do

You will plan and execute event projects with the goal of bringing defined target audiences closer to the Polestar brand by driving awareness, creating excitement for the brand and our products, generating qualified leads, and achieving commercial goals. These projects include appearances at conferences, events on a national and regional scale, test-drive and launch events (e.g., in our retail Spaces in Italy), and sponsoring appearances.

Other tasks you will be responsible for:

• Ensure an integrated full year event planning, supporting the annual marketing plan from idea generation and conceptualization, organization, execution, documentation and analysis.
• Support the PR department with press and influencer activities, developing and executing on creative event concepts to drive media attention.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to align all plans and ensure maximum efficiency and impact of all activities.
• Consistently and proactively evaluate technology and established event solutions to improve the users experience at events (e.g. technology like AR, VR,…)
• Build, maintain and improve internal car management tracker and be main POC (point of contact) for all internal car fleet planning.
• Budget responsibility and management in close collaboration with the Head of Marketing and Head of PR.
  
  

Who You Are

We think that you are a person with a high personal drive and determination to develop the Polestar offering to customers. You are creative and proactive, and you have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You have excellent understanding of how to set-up events of different kinds and bring them to success working with clear KPI’s and objectives. An understanding of the automotive industry is a plus.

• At least 2 years’ experience in event management or a similar role.
• Cross functional knowledge and the ability to lead multiple level projects involving internal & external stakeholders (e.g., agencies, regional marketing, partners).
• Understanding of information systems, technical developments for events and database operations.
• Fluent in Italian and English, further language(s) an advantage.
