Electric/Electronic Testing Engineer - Internship

Position

Italdesign is looking for automotive enthusiasts and smart new graduated people willing to join an innovative and international business environment, working in agile way and enjoying the teamwork spirit.

You will gain a great experience in learning all the instruments, procedures and technical aspects with the support of your tutor and colleagues of the Department.

Italdesign is expanding its activities in the field of SW validation.

Within the team of HIL and Testing you will directly work on the SW Validatio for different platforms.

You will be part of an interdisciplinary, networked and Agile team. Together with specialists about HIL, modelling and SW testing you will be part of the development and validation process for series products.

Responsibilities

As trainee, you will be supported by your Tutor in order to learn the major duties of the role:

• Taking part to different testing sessions based on customer needs: HIL and/or on the vehicle (lab/road);
• Test Cases Execution/Analysis/Maintenance/Development and Reporting;
• Troubleshooting on test results with KPM Tickets opening and consequent validation;
• Test Routing Matrix of the SW under test;
• Working on Tests Automation;
• Taking part to road tests for testing robustness of SW in different network/weather conditions;
• Taking part to alignment meetings with the customer.

Preferential requirements

• Good knowledge of C language;
• Basic knowledge of CAPL language;
• Basic knowledge of Python language;
• Basic knowledge of the common Bus interfaces (CAN, LIN).

Other information

• Education: Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation, Mechatronic or similar;
• Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English (at least B2 level); knowledge of basic German would be appreciated (with willingness to improve);
• Workplace: Moncalieri (TO), Italia;
• Contract type: 6 months of post graduate internship;
