We are looking for the next e-Commerce Junior Key Accountto join the customer management team of Barilla Region Italy.


You will be responsible for eCommerce strategic plans and growth acceleration of our online business at one of the top-ranking retailers in Italy. You will be in charge to identify new eCommerce trends and opportunities for online category development and formulate action plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the eCommerce customer management, driving eCommerce sales and share growth with the retailer.
  • Design and improve marketing and digital marketing programs that serve to maximize Barilla’s presence and performance on the e-retailer (digital execution, including content and campaigns)
  • Develop business cases – bringing together customers insights, financial data and analytics – to build a perspective on revenue and potential profitability.
  • Define and communicate e-business key priorities (channel, business development, new opportunities, etc) to the Customer-dedicated team, eCommerce Channel team and cross-functional partners.
  • Work on the negotiation of the eCommerce annual plan.
  • Work closely with Region Italy eCommerce Channel team and cross functional teams to build eCommerce excellence.
  • Work closely with customer logistics to ensure availability and distribution.
  • Support the team through cross-channel analysis of the sell-out data provided by the retailer.
  • Contribute to the business planning process (DG, MYE, LE), in order to support the definition of volumes and business potential.


  • 3+ years of relevant experience specifically in the field of eCommerce, digital, e-customer management.
  • Commercial understanding of digital/eCommerce, online Category Development and relevant KPIs (i.e. eComm sales performance, campaigns and content execution/availability, etc.).
  • Project management experience involving the development and execution of omnichannel plans, with engagement, influence, and coordination of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills, ability to read, organize and elaborate data & insights.
  • Good negotiation and commercial approach.
  • Tech-savvy with business mindset, passion and curiosity for trends & market evolution.
  • Degree qualified with fluency in English and Italian.

Additional Info

  • The role is based in our HQ in Parma (Italy) and will report to the Customer Team Director.
  • We support hybrid working, as a mix of working remotely and from the office.
  • The expected starting date is November 2022, with a full-time permanent contract.
